-
All bookings are final and non-refundable. Once payment is made, it cannot be refunded for any reason.
If the customer makes a booking without attending a try-on appointment, it is the customer's responsibility to request sizing measurements or refer to the designer's size chart. TDR will not provide a refund for garments that don't fit.
If you cancel your booking with at least 48 hours' notice, TDR will issue a store credit equivalent to the hire fee paid, which is valid for 12 months from the date your cancellation is processed.
-
The standard hire period is 4 days. If you require an extended hire period, you must contact us in advance to make arrangements.
All dresses must be returned by close of business (5.00pm) on the agreed return date.
-
If a dress is returned after the agreed return time, a daily late fee ($20 per day) will be applied for each day the dress is overdue.
If your late return prevents another booking from being fulfilled, you will be charged an additional full hire fee for that booking in addition to any late fees.
If a dress is not returned within 14 days of the return date, it will be deemed non-returned, and you will be invoiced for 100% of the recommended retail price (RRP), plus any late fees already incurred.Failure to return or pay will result in action being taken, including legal steps or debt collection, and any fees associated will be added to your invoice.
-
All garments available through That Dressing Room are pre-loved and professionally dry cleaned between hires. Minor signs of wear or small repairs may be visible — this is the nature of rental fashion.
Each piece is cared for and maintained to a high standard, but we encourage you to inspect your chosen dress at your try-on appointment or prior to collecting.
-
We know accidents happen, but we do ask that you treat each garment with care.
Minor damage (e.g. zip issues, small tears, stains) will be repaired, and repair costs will be invoiced to you.
If a garment is damaged beyond repair, you’ll be responsible for paying the full RRP, plus any lost future hires.
If the item simply requires standard dry cleaning, no extra fee will be charged.
-
For all garments that require delivery (to and/or from the client), a $20 freight charge per direction is payable at the time of booking.
Once your item has been dispatched, you’ll receive an email with tracking information.
Clients must not override the “signature on delivery” requirement, including choosing the “leave in a safe place” option. If this condition is breached, the client accepts full responsibility for any lost or stolen garments.
If That Dressing Room (TDR) has agreed to a postal return, clients must use the reusable mailer provided and lodge it over the counter at any Australia Post office before 3PM on the first business day following the event.
Garments must not be placed in a street post box or returned via any alternative method. Australia Post will provide a lodgement receipt, which should be kept as proof of return. -
